A new concept in luxury travel guides, created by two friends with a shared love of world travel: Simon Miller, an interior designer, Matt Rowan, a graphic designer and travel journalist.
It all began when Simon went on a trip to South America. Having arrived in Cusco, Peru, he set his sights on an excursion to Machu Picchu, a destination featured on bucket lists across the globe. Determined to enjoy the experience away from the tourist masses and in relative comfort, Simon quickly determined that his vast collection of guidebooks were of little help.
Resolutely, he decided to plan the trip himself, and Simon was rewarded with stunning views of the mist rising serenely at Machu Picchu. With just vital minutes before the hordes of tourists arrived, he shared this wondrously surreal experience with only the resident llamas. This set in motion an idea to create a collection of inspirational travel guides containing unique and exclusive details to allow the traveller to book an outstanding personal journey to amazing world-class destinations.
During the following years, Simon and Matt devoted their time to travelling, researching and designing an easy to follow the format for their new travel guides. Each book outlines a journey aimed at those wishing to travel independently with a hint of luxury, to the designated country’s most memorable destinations, hotels and restaurants.

Simon was born and educated in England and lives in the Oxfordshire Chilterns, near London. Early in his career he formed a successful design group and expanded the business before selling the company. He then devoted his planning skills to travel independently around the world, touring 62 countries across every continent on the globe in search of exceptional destinations and distinctive hotels. To pursue his three passions for design, travel and planning, Simon established Amazing Wonders to create a collection of outstanding journeys to some of the world’s greatest destinations. Simon’s next plan is to establish a charitable foundation to help protect endangered animals in previously neglected regions.

Matt is a design and creative superstar who has built a successful design business helping both start-ups and established companies realise the full potential of their brands through effective creative design and marketing.
He is also a passionate world traveller, illustrator and creative typographer, who enjoys exploring new locations and other cultures. Matt has travelled extensively across South Asia and beyond, and has recently combined his occupation and love of travel by working and living remotely from exotic locations all over the world. In his spare time, Matt enjoys working with fellow entrepreneurs, running a number of associated projects including writing a book on inspiration and creativity.
